Oregon District Annual Hauntfest on Fifth

The Oregon District Business Association is presenting its annual fund-raiser, Hauntfest on Fifth, this Saturday night, October 26.   We hope you’ll come to the event and have a lot of fun.  All proceeds go to benefit a number of non-profits, including the Oregon Historic District Society and the ODBA.  We’ve added a new benefactor this year, Cityfolk.
Gates open at 7am, Close at 1am.    There are 2 gate, one at Fifth and Wayne; the other at Fifth and Patterson.
Tickets are $5, advance and at the gate on Saturday until 10pm. After 10pm, tickets are $10.
Costume Contest with Cash prizes for best individual, group and best Zombie…3 places, each w/cash prizes.  Preliminary judging is at 9:30 with finals at 10pm on the main stage at Fifth/Pine.  Jim Bucher from Channel 2 is the emcee.
Music on the main stage all evening at Fifth/Pine.
Professional wrestling in the ring at Fifth/Jackson (next to BRIM). 2 hours total throughout the evening.
Logistics:
Fifth St (Between Wayne / Patterson) will close at 4pm for setup. Brown St from Thai 9 to Fifth St, all of Pine St, North Jackson St, Jackson St from the back of BRIM to Fifth St will close at 4pm.
Wayne Ave (from North of Cass to Fourth St) will close at 5pm.
Streets will reopen around 2am.
